Dates are the fruit of the date palm tree, which is grown in many tropical regions of the IRAN ( Kerman, Bam, Khuzestan, Jahrom,…). The date is a traditional fruit that has been mentioned over 42 times in the Quran. Many types of dates are export from Iran, such as Piarom dates and Mazafati dates. In this article, we want to introduce prom dates and their benefits.
The Piarom date is A large, thin skin, a black-brown date that is widely considered the most delicious of all semi-dry date varieties. This date is also known as the Piarom Dates or Maryami Date (Myriam) date.
The harvest season for new crop is late September until Mid- October each year.
This date is the most expensive and luxurious Semi Dried date compared to other types of dates.
Their moisture level of Piarom Date is below 15%. The moisture level depends on the harvest time, the location of cultivation, and irrigation.
Farmers grow this date mostly in southern Iran provinces such as Hormozgan, Hajiabad, etc.

  However, In our professional opinion, it is better to keep them in the Refrigerator which is cool (below 5 Centigrade) and dry with proper air ventilation.
